Derrick Barden, starting center for Fresno State’s basketball team, was suspended for one game after missing the Bulldogs’ Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. opener Saturday night against San Jose State to serve as best man at his brother’s wedding in Detroit.
Barden suited up for Monday night’s game against Utah State, but watched from the bench. The Bulldogs lost, 90-68.
