Angry Denver Bronco fans, having spent the night outside the club’s ticket office waiting for tickets to go on sale for Sunday’s American Football Conference championship game with the Cleveland Browns, pelted two men with doughnuts and other food when they walked to the front of the line Monday and purchased what one fan said was more than $3,000 in tickets.
The two men, each wearing a three-piece suit, had apparently paid someone $50 to stand in line. There was no limit on how many tickets could be purchased by one customer, and club officials said the men had done nothing wrong. There were no arrests and no one was injured in the incident that took place at 7:30 a.m.
