Share

The Monrovia Redevelopment Agency and Second Baptist Church have agreed to a land swap that will permit the city to acquire enough frontage just north of East Huntington Drive to hold a proposed office building.

The church will give the city 20,000 square feet of land on east Maple Avenue, and the city will give the church 28,700 square feet of land at Almond and Shamrock avenues. The church will use the land for a parking lot and expanded educational facilities.
