Three alleged rock cocaine dealers attacked a 45-year-old woman in Hollywood on Sunday morning, slashing her with a broken bottle after she refused to buy drugs from them, police said.

Jacqueline Mason, a Los Angeles resident, was walking along Sunset Boulevard near Western Avenue about 5:30 a.m. when she was approached by two women, ages 19 and 20, and a 15-year-old boy, who asked if she wanted to buy rock cocaine, said Los Angeles Police Sgt. Tom Moselle of the Hollywood Division.

She said no and the three started harassing her, pushing and yelling, he said.

“One of the females produced a broken bottle and cut the victim on the left temple and back of her right hand,” Moselle said, adding that Mason was also stabbed in the back during the ensuing scuffle.

When her attackers fled, Mason called police. Officers found the suspects, their clothes bloodied, in a doughnut shop near Sunset and Hobart boulevards.

They were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, he said. Mason was treated at a hospital.
