2 Mild Quakes Jar Northern California and Nevada Areas

CLEARLAKE, Calif. —
A mild earthquake struck near the small town of Clearlake in Northern California early Tuesday, but there were no reports of injuries or damage.
UC seismographic stations reported the temblor hit at 12:10 a.m. around the Geysers, about 75 miles northwest of Berkeley, and registered 3.7 on the Richter scale.
On Monday, a small earthquake centered five miles from Boulder City, Nev., broke windows and knocked pictures off walls.
