Owner of Anaheim Company Found Shot to Death in Alley
The owner of an Anaheim firm was found shot to death Sunday afternoon in an alley adjoining his company’s office, police reported.
Sgt. David Severson said police found the body of Charles Schulte, 62, of Anaheim lying in the alley shortly after officers were called to the scene at 1:05 p.m. Schulte, the owner of Olympic Productions at 1447 S. State College Blvd., was pronounced dead at the scene, Severson said.
Investigators said that Schulte was killed by several small-caliber gunshot wounds of the upper body. The exact number of shots was not disclosed.
“The motive has not been determined,” Severson said. “But Anaheim police are looking for the victim’s car, which is missing.” The vehicle is a blue 1984 Volkswagen van with California license plates 1MJJ965, Severson said. Persons spotting the van are asked to call the Anaheim Police Department.
