KCOP Channel 13’s coverage of the Los Angeles Marathon from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday was seen in an estimated 582,000 homes, the A.C. Nielsen Co. reported Monday. The four-hour ratings average of 12.5 was better than last year’s 9.6, but fell short of the 13 rating that KCOP got for the first marathon in 1986.
