Ear Reattached After Pit Bull Swallows It

WILMINGTON, N. C. —
A 2-year-old boy was reported in satisfactory condition Thursday after surgeons reattached one of his ears, which had been bitten off and swallowed by a pit bulldog.
Chris Graham of Delco was attacked by three pit bulldogs Tuesday at his grandfather’s farm, authorities said. A veterinarian, after destroying the dogs, found the left ear in the stomach of one of the animals and gave it to surgeons.
