Four Die in Vermont Fire

NORTHFIELD, Vt. —
Fire swept through a single-family home Thursday, killing four people in their bedrooms, authorities said. State police fire investigator Stan Merriam said a faulty pipe from a wood stove may have been the cause of the blaze.
