San Diego
The body of a 19-year-old San Diego man who had been missing for two weeks was found floating off the coast of Pacific Beach by the crew of a fishing boat Friday morning, San Diego County Deputy Corner Robert Engel said.
The victim was identified as Louis Hernandez Ortiz, 19, a resident of the 3200 block of Clay Avenue.
On March 23, Hernandez and five friends were wading in the water at Pacific Beach Drive, when he was dragged out to sea about 1 p.m., Engel said.
Lifeguards searched for Hernandez--who could not swim--for more than 12 hours.
