Robert Plant, Bill Cosby Concerts Added to Amphitheater Lineups

Shows by Robert Plant, the blues-rock banshee of Led Zeppelin fame, Bill Cosby and mellow jazz-pop saxophonist Kenny G have been added to the summer lineups at Pacific and Irvine Meadows amphitheaters.

Tickets for Plant’s June 13 concert go on sale Monday at 9 a.m. (an hour earlier than usual). Kenny G tickets also go on sale Monday.

Bill Cosby will play Irvine Meadows on June 17. Tickets go on sale Sunday at 10 a.m.

Tickets also go on sale Sunday for Bob Dylan’s July 31 concert at the Costa Mesa amphitheater. Dylan will be backed by guitarist-singer-songwriter Marshall Crenshaw, guitarist G.E. Smith and Christopher Parker.

Tickets also go on sale Sunday and Monday for other shows at the Pacific. On sale Sunday: Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea, June 10; Tiffany, July 2; Bob Dylan and the Alarm, July 31; the Dizzy Gillespie Superband All Star Festival, Aug. 7; Hank Williams Jr., Aug. 12; the Moody Blues, Aug. 26, and David Sanborn, Aug. 28.

Tickets go on sale Monday for Dan Fogelberg, June 5; Jimmy Buffet, Aug. 5; Spyro Gyra, Aug. 19; Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine, Aug. 27; Chicago, Sept. 16; and Randy Travis, the Judds and K.T. Oslin, Sept. 25.
