Aegean Hills’ Ties to Mission Viejo
It was gratifying to be a part of Mission Viejo’s first City Council meeting, where the democratic process was truly allowed to run its course. It took great courage for council members to act in a positive way in the matter of the Aegean Hills residents’ fight for self-determination. We applaud the city’s inclusion of our area in their sphere of influence and look forward to our eventual annexation into Mission Viejo.
Mission Viejo is a blue-chip city with a bright and solid future. While I wish our neighbors to the west and north good luck in their own cityhood adventures, I want to state that we of Aegean Hills feel that our identity and our destiny lies with the city of the “California Promise,” and that is where we will fight to live.
