Bernard Randolph, former DePaul basketball star whose dream of playing in the National Basketball Assn. never materialized, was carrying a duffel bag with two basketballs and a high school trophy inside when he was arrested and charged with trespassing at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, his fourth arrest this year, police said.
He “had just been wandering and was sitting on a hill watching planes take off and land,” officer Tim Bolger said. “It just seemed to me like he was lost. It’s a sad story.”
