Alhambra : Police Chief to Leave
Joe Molloy, who has been Alhambra’s police chief for eight years, will leave June 6 to become chief of police in Anaheim.
City Manager Kevin Murphy said Molloy’s successor will be chosen from among the city’s four police captains.
Murphy praised Molloy for his accomplishments in Alhambra, crediting him with building police morale and increasing the number of arrests from 1,500 a year to 5,500.
