La Mirada Offers Youth Job Service

This city’s Human Services Department offers a free job referral service to all residents 14 or older. With summer on the way, many employers in the fast-food, restaurant and industrial business community are filling vacancies created during the fall and spring. Non-formal opportunities, such as temporary baby-sitting, gardening and single-day odd jobs, also exist.
