CalArts film students Jack Saltzberg and David Teitelbaum, who posed as a bogus TV crew and crashed the Oscar arrivals at the Shrine Auditorium last month, will appear on “The Tonight Show” with Johnny Carson tonight with about seven minutes of their Oscar video and talk about their brief fling as have-nots among the haves. It’s just the beginning of the career launching of the spontaneous video duo. Next week, they fly to New York for a date with Jane Pauley on “The Today Show” and for meetings with representatives of “Late Night With David Letterman” and “Saturday Night Live.” There is even talk of a regular TV series. Days after they teamed up for the April 11 Oscar break-in, Saltzberg and Teitelbaum were bombarded with calls from agents and producers seeking meetings. Producer-director Saltzberg and video star Teitelbaum signed with different talent agencies, but the pair still plans future projects together.
