A man was found dead Monday morning on the sidewalk near the Civic Center parking garage in the 100 block of A Street.
A garage employee called police after being notified by a passer-by that a man was lying on the north side of the 10-story parking structure, police said.
According to Deputy Coroner Jerry Hill, the identity of the man, an elderly white male, was not immediately known, but he said the man’s injuries indicated that he may have fallen or jumped from a considerable height.
