A fire caused by faulty electrical wiring caused an estimated $300,000 damage to three Tierrasanta condominiums Friday evening.
San Diego Fire Department spokesman Larry Cook said the fire started in a two-story condominium at 9700 Apple Tree Drive and spread to units at 9741 and 9747 Apple Tree, doing extensive damage to all three structures.
Twenty-five firefighters fought the blaze, which started about 6 p.m.
