Kronemann and Briggs Named to Galea Cup

Trevor Kronemann and Mike Briggs of UC Irvine have been named to the U.S. Galea Cup team, Anteater Coach Greg Patton said Monday.

Kronemann and Briggs will compete on the three-man with Greg Failla of Cal State Long Beach. The team, named by the United States Tennis Assn., will begin competition July 5, in Budapest. The Galea Cup is an international tournament for amateurs 20-and-under.

Kronemann finished the collegiate season ranked 37th in the NCAA.
