The Kings announced their 1988-89 schedule, which will begin with a homestand including games against the Detroit Red Wings, Calgary Flames, New York Islanders, Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers.
A six-game trip, from Oct. 28 to Nov. 6, will be their longest of the season.
