Bill Elliott broke the track record and won the pole position for today’s Miller High Life 400 NASCAR stock car race at Brooklyn, Mich.
Elliott was the fastest of three drivers who surpassed the previous record on the two-mile, high-banked oval. The other two were Geoff Bodine, who won last Sunday’s race at Long Pond, Pa., and Davey Allison.
