Laker Fans May Have Cheated the Pistons
Wasn’t there clearly a foul committed by the Lakers in Game 7 of the NBA finals with two seconds left?
It was an impossible situation for the referees--what with fans streaming onto the court--but with the Pistons three points down, they could conceivably have sunk the first free throw, thrown up the second shot against the backboard, gotten the rebound and put it right back up for two more points, thus forcing overtime.
It seems to me the Pistons were robbed of this chance by the fan situation.
