San Francisco Manager Roger Craig, Montreal Manager Buck Rodgers and three coaches from St. Louis Manager Whitey Herzog’s staff will assist Herzog in handling the National League All-Star team July 12.
Cardinal coaches Nick Leyva, Johnny Lewis and Rich Hacker will serve as the NL All-Star team’s batting practice staff.
The American League All-Stars, managed by Minnesota’s Tom Kelly, will have managers Tom Trebelhorn of Milwaukee and Bobby Valentine of Texas as coaches. Twin coaches Rick Renick, Rick Stelmaszek, Dick Such and Wayne Terwilliger will serve as batting practice staff.
