Shortstop Shawon Dunston of the Chicago Cubs challenged Manager Don Zimmer to a fight in the dugout during a game Sunday in San Diego against the Padres.
Zimmer chastised Dunston for missing three hit-and-run signs in the fifth inning of Sunday’s game against the Padres, which the Cubs won, 4-2.
When the shortstop challenged Zimmer to a fight, Andre Dawson stepped in and pulled the two apart, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
