Running Concept snapped Truly A Pleasure’s four-win streak with an impressive 2 3/4-length victory in Friday night’s $26,850 Table Tennis Handicap at Los Alamitos Race Course.
Ridden by Joe Meier, Running Concept was held just off the pace of Truly A Pleasure, who led the eight-horse field through the early stages of the race, before pulling ahead on the final turn.
Say Native outdueled 4-5 favorite Truly A Pleasure to finish second under rider Lute Proctor.
