Villas Charger Gets Another Win at Los Alamitos
Villas Charger recorded her second consecutive victory at Los Alamitos Tuesday night, beating Wylackie Special by a neck in the featured eighth thoroughbred race.
Villas Charger broke on top and was never threatened in the 350-yard race, covering the distance in 17.76 seconds.
Wylackie Special finished a head in front of Trips Time, and favorite April Nine finished fourth in the field of six allowance mares.
Villas Charger paid $9.40, $4 and $3.60. Wylackie Special returned $7.80 and $4.60, and Trips Time returned $4.20.
