Producer David L. Wolper and his company, David L. Wolper Productions, signed a seven-year exclusive contract with Warner Bros., it was announced. Wolper, whose productions have included “The Thorn Birds” and “Roots,” has been exclusively associated with Warner since he sold his company to Warner Bros. 12 years ago. Wolper will continue to produce motion pictures for theatrical release and for television, will make miniseries and will be involved in other entertainment projects for Warner. He will also retain his post as consultant to Warner Bros. and Warner Communications.
