‘Last Temptation’

Two errors are being made by the fundamentalist Christians.

Foremost, if the film is all that they claim, then it would be offensive to Muslims. Although we believe in Jesus as messiah and not God, the esteem in which we hold him and his description in the Koran does not let us take lightly attacks on his character.

Secondly, one minster says that film studios “would not dare to make (a similar affront) against Muslims. . . . “ Frankly, we are deluged with affronts against our faith, attacks on the character of the Messenger Mohammed and misrepresentations of our faith. Most of these originate with the film studios and we seem powerless to stem the flow of their misinformation and defamation.
