KNBC-TV Channel 4 anchors John Beard and Keith Morrison will switch places beginning tonight, with Beard taking over the 11 o’clock news anchor job and Morrison moving to the 6 o’clock newscast. The station made the switch to give Morrison, who has also been reporting for NBC News during the day, a more livable work schedule, a KNBC spokeswoman said. Beard begins his stint alongside co-anchor Kelly Lange at 11 p.m., while Morrison, who this week is substituting as anchor of NBC’s “News at Sunrise,” will assume his new post next week.
