Alta Laguna Parkland
I believe that Laguna Beach City Council members have a good record on the environment. And mostly, but not always, they have listened to the voice of the people.
Two hundred students and 1,100 Top of the World residents have recorded their wishes to retain the Alta Laguna park space as natural land.
The council should reassure the citizens of its continuing dedication to open space, reconfirm its support of its supporters and remember that 200 students and 1,100 Top of the World residents said, “No sports complex in Alta Laguna.”
So, the council could very well consider dedicating forthwith Alta Laguna as natural open space, not a super sports complex.
