With the inclusion of “The Morton Downey Jr. Show” in its programming, KABC-TV has proven that--unlike other local stations and network affiliates--it is truly capable of sinking into uncharted depths of bad taste. The program is a revoltingly irresponsible example of amoral, sensationalist telecasts directed at that lowest common denominator of our society, the lynch mob. KABC will not be a part of my home again until this show and its kind of “personalities” are permanently removed from its schedule.
