Why is it OK to show R-rated movies on TV? I know that the stations announce the “viewer discretion” messages, but they do not help. I think it is bad enough that unsuitable material is so readily available in video stores, but TV needs to be cleaned up. The language allowed is totally unsuitable, especially during prime time.
