A woman was fatally stabbed late Sunday, and her estranged husband is being sought by police for questioning.
According to San Diego police spokesman Bill Robinson, Tina Meyer Jensen, 30, was stabbed by her husband, James, also 30, shortly before midnight in front of their mobile home at Miramar Naval Air Station after an argument.
She was taken by military ambulance to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, Robinson said.
The stabbing occurred in an area of the base where San Diego police have jurisdiction, Robinson said, adding that James Jensen is in the Navy.
Police were trying to locate Jensen, who is described as white, 6 feet tall, 190 pounds, with sandy brown hair and blue eyes, Robinson said.
