What its organizers hype as “America’s largest outdoor recording session” will take place Saturday during the official unveiling of America’s Cup Village. The public is invited to gather at the temporary facility at noon and sing along to “The America’s Cup Song,” composed by local singer-songwriter Steve Vaus. The tapes will roll, with the final mixing scheduled to be completed in time for the village’s official opening Sept. 6.
