Three more men have been arrested in connection with the rape Monday morning of a 22-year-old Santee woman in Balboa Park.
Gabriel Gutierrez, 22, and Jose de Jesus Leyva-Hernandez, 24, were arrested about 5 p.m. Wednesday, and Miguel Deleon, 19, was arrested about 2 p.m. Thursday, said Arthur Cavada, a San Diego police investigator.
The three suspects join three juveniles--two of them 16-year-olds and all from Mexico--who were arrested Monday and booked into Juvenile Hall, where they face charges of rape and forced oral copulation.
Cavada said the suspects arrested Wednesday and Thursday face charges of sexual assault.
Another suspect, Manuel Rendia, 21, also of Mexico, is still being sought, Robinson said.
