China’s Fiery Liquor Ruled Out at Banquets

Maotai --China’s fiery liquor that rivals vodka and schnapps in potency and popularity, is no longer to be served at state banquets, the Foreign Ministry disclosed Friday.
The ministry attributed the decision to “protocol reform.”
