A moderate earthquake rattled an isolated desert region of northern Baja California, sending shock waves as far north as Orange County, officials said. The quake measured 5.1 on the Richter scale and was centered 90 miles southeast of San Diego, said seismologists at Cal Tech in Pasadena. It was not immediately known if the quake caused any damage or injuries.
