Bravo to Yoder for fingering Bush’s prostitution of the Pledge of Allegiance as the P.T. Barnum politics it is. This nasty tactic, as well as the numerous others inspired daily in the Bush campaign, is indicative of a party so secure in its right to rule that its claim to the presidency apparently supersedes any need for decency.
