Jesus Poll retained his North American Boxing Federation super-bantamweight championship at Caesars Palace Friday night by knocking challenger Julian Solis down in the third round and going on to win a close, but unamimous, 12-round decision.
The victory kept Poll, 122, a Venezuelan fighting out of the Ten Goose Boxing Club of North Hollywood, unbeaten with a 19-0-2 record.
Solis, a Puerto Rican training in Connecticut, fell to 38-8-1.
