Jane Wyatt of “Father Knows Best” and Barbara Billingsley of “Leave It to Beaver” will reprise their roles as two of America’s most famous homemakers in an episode of the new NBC series “Baby Boom.” In the show, set to air Nov. 2, the Kate Jackson character has a dream in which she discusses motherhood with Wyatt’s Margaret Anderson and Billingsley’s June Cleaver.

Christopher Reeve, who played the Man of Steel in “Superman,” will host an hourlong special for ABC called “The World’s Greatest Stunts!” Scheduled to air Nov. 3, it also will feature appearances by Tom Selleck, Mark Harmon, Charlton Heston, Michael Douglas, Mel Gibson, Patrick Swayze, Sam Elliott and Morgan Brittany.

“The ‘Slap’ Maxwell Story” will be back--but only in reruns. The Arts & Entertainment cable network has purchased rebroadcast rights to the critically acclaimed comedy series that ran last season on ABC. A&E; will begin showing the series, which stars Dabney Coleman, in January.

Treat Williams and Virginia Madsen are starring in “Third Degree Burn,” a TV movie for HBO. Williams plays a private eye and Madsen is an adulterous wife. He’s hired to trail her and--surprise!--winds up falling in love.
