American Toxxic Control of Newport Beach has acquired an Illinois firm that specializes in automatic prescreening systems for industrial waste disposal. American Toxxic bought Hycor, which is based in Lake Bluff, Ill., for an undisclosed amount, company officials said Tuesday in a prepared statement. American Toxxic is a toxic materials and hazardous waste management company. Company officials could not be reached for comment.
