Local News in Brief : 6 Hurt in Chatsworth Head-On Collision
Six people were injured, one critically and two seriously, in a head-on collision Sunday in Chatsworth, authorities said.
A 25-year-old man was flown by helicopter to Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills after the 4:19 p.m. accident at Topanga Canyon Boulevard and San Jose Street, City Fire Department spokesman Greg Acevedo said. The victim was listed in critical condition.
Two other victims, a 20-year-old woman and a man in his 20s, were taken by ambulance to Northridge Hospital Medical Center with serious injuries, authorities said. Three other people suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
The names of the victims were withheld pending notification of relatives. The cause of the accident was under investigation, Acevedo said.
