Local News in Brief : 36 Years Added to Rapist’s Sentence
A convicted rapist serving a state prison term of life plus 40 years has pleaded guilty to raping three more women and been sentenced to an additional 36 years behind bars.
Prosecutors said Keith T. Roland, 30, assaulted all his victims in downtown Los Angeles parking structures.
Superior Court Judge Candace Cooper imposed the additional sentence Tuesday on Roland, who was convicted in June on 10 felony counts stemming from assaults on three other women. The attacks occurred from June, 1986, until March, 1987.
