Local News in Brief : Buena Park : Victims of Stabbing at Knott’s Identified

Police on Tuesday identified the victims of a stabbing attack that occurred Monday night at Knott’s Berry Farm during the amusement park’s Halloween celebration.

Police said three teen-agers from Oxnard who were in the parking lot near Independence Hall were set upon by four men and one woman, who stabbed their victims with broken bottles.

Michael W. Mansir, 19, suffered wounds in the back and side and a 16-year-old boy, whose name was not released, suffered facial injuries when struck by a bottle, Anaheim Police Sgt. Bill Cox said. Both were hospitalized and listed in good condition.

Michael A. Lamon, 18, was stabbed in the chest and abdomen and was hospitalized in stable condition, Cox said.

Investigators have found no reason for the attack, and no suspects have been identified, Cox said.
