Bradley Endorses Prop. 103
Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley today endorsed Proposition 103, the insurance initiative backed by consumer advocate Ralph Nader. Bradley also denounced campaign mailings in South Los Angeles saying that he backs Proposition 100--a competing initiative backed by the California Trial Lawyers Assn.--and is opposed to Proposition 103. The mayor said he now supports both ballot initiatives.
Bradley asked the state Fair Political Practices Commission to investigate the mailing, which contains a bylined article by him. He said he had never written or seen the article.
