Once Upon a Time in the West (Channel 11 Monday at 2 a.m.): Until you have the opportunity to tape the uncut five-hour version, the shortened 1969 release of Sergio Leone’s triumphantly bravura shoot-’em-up will serve. (3 hr.)

Cutter’s Way (TMC Monday at 10:30 a.m.): Ivan Passer’s unjustly neglected 1981 film unfolds much like one of Ross MacDonald’s Lew Archer mysteries--and is in fact set in Santa Barbara--as it becomes a singularly devastating indictment of the plight of the neglected Vietnam veteran. Jeff Bridges, John Heard and Lisa Eichhorn star. (1:49)

The Troublemaker (Channel 9 Monday at 10 p.m.): Ted Flicker’s low-budget 1964 movie about a country bumpkin loose in Greenwich Village doubtlessly seems dated today but could be a real time capsule item of the era. (1:30)

Sawdust and Tinsel (Z Saturday at 3 p.m.): An early (1953) and erotic Ingmar Bergman film set in a circus and starring a voluptuous Harriet Andersson. (1:30)
