Conservancy to Celebrate Anniversary
The Los Angeles Conservancy celebrates its 10th anniversary today with a 10 a.m-4 p.m. party at the historic Paddison Farm, 11951 Imperial Highway, Norwalk.
Admission is $10 at the gate. The 6-acre farm is the remnant of a homestead founded in 1879 by John Paddison, one of the earliest settlers of Norwalk. Tours of the farm will be offered, along with refreshments.
The Los Angeles Conservancy was founded in 1978 to organize individual efforts to preserve the Los Angeles Central Library and the Pan Pacific Auditorium.
