10 Hurt in Amtrak Train Accident

GRENADA, Miss. —
An Amtrak passenger train hit a log truck at a crossing south of here this morning, injuring 10 people, including eight passengers, authorities said.
There were no fatalities in the 7:25 a.m. accident, they said, but eight of the injured--including a child, who suffered burns--were hospitalized. There were 138 passengers and crew on the City of New Orleans, which was southbound from Chicago to New Orleans.
