The body of an unidentified man was found early Tuesday near the Los Angeles River in North Hollywood, police said.
The body was discovered by city maintenance workers about 9:30 a.m. at Bluffside Drive and Lankershim Boulevard, said Detective Mike Coffey of the Los Angeles Police Department’s North Hollywood Division. Authorities believe the body may have been at the site as long as a month, Coffey said.
