Local News in Brief : Orange : $328,094 Lotto Prize Still Goes Unclaimed
Someone who bought a winning California Lottery ticket at a 7-Eleven store here last June still hasn’t claimed the $328,094 prize.
A spokesman for the California Lottery said the winning ticket in the June 15 Lotto had five winning numbers plus the bonus. The June 15 winning numbers were 1, 10, 17, 20, 32 and 40, and the bonus number was 31, lottery director Chon Gutierrez said.
The prize money for unclaimed tickets will be transferred to the lottery fund for public schools if the ticket is not redeemed by Dec. 12, Gutierrez said.
Another June 15 ticket bought in Hawthorne, which has all six winning numbers and is worth $4.7 million, also has not been redeemed.
Gutierrez said the biggest previous unclaimed prize in the California Lottery’s history was a $3.98-million lotto ticket sold in San Francisco’s Chinatown in 1987.
